movie news: Teaser trailer released for Carrie remake

Hot on the heels of the release for the first poster for Carrie the other day… we have the first teaser trailer.

The trailer debuted over the weekend at the New York Comic Con and was accompanied by a panel discussion with director Kimberly Peirce, the producer Kevin Misher and stars Chloë Grace Moretz and Julianne Moore. Reactions to the panel were positive and looking at the trailer below it looks to me like we’ve got some good potential here.

If anything, I’m definitely feeling better about the idea of a remake than I was yesterday and sure, that’s the main thing.
