clips and trailers: Hanna (2011)

I haven’t given you much of build up on this one but I saw it last night and I decided I really wanted to promote it. Without further ado, Hanna.

Hanna is the second collaboration between Joe Wright and Saoirse Ronan, the first one being the excellent war-time drama Atonement. Great film, seek it out if you have the time.

Hanna, however, is about a million miles away from Atonement… and Joe Wright’s other previous efforts for that matter. This time he has shied away from the thought provoking drama and turned to action. That’s right, our little Saoirse Ronan has become an ass-kickin’ warrior. Or has she?

Sorry. Yes. She has. I don’t know why I’d try to suggest she hadn’t. Have a look at the videos below to see exactly how much ass she’s decided to kick.
