Acclaimed Irish director Lenny Abrahamson (Adam & Paul, Garage, What Richard Did) and Domhnall Gleeson (Dredd, About Time, Anna Karenina) – and who’s just been cast in a little film called Star Wars are rocking up to Twitter’s EMEA HQ in Dublin for a live Twitter Q&A on Thursday 1st May 2014 @ 11.30am to promote their new film Frank

Loosely inspired by Frank Sidebottom (well, except for the look of course) and other “outsider” musicians like Captain Beefheart, Daniel Johnston, the film stars Michael Fassbender as the titular Frank and Domhnall Gleeson as Jon, a young wannabe musician who wants to join Frank’s band, Soronprfbs. I don’t know how you pronounce it either. That’s not all you get for your money though, you’ve also got Maggie Gyllenhaal as an angry theremin player and everyone’s favourite monster avoider, Scoot McNairy.

Co-authored by Jon Ronson, the writer of The Men Who Stare at Goats and an ex-member of Frank Sidebottom’s band, and Peter Straughan (Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy), Frank promises to be… different.
