movie news: First look at Henry Cavill as Superman in Batman V Superman

We got a first look at Ben Affleck as Batman back in May and just a few days ago we saw Henry Cavill as Clarke Kent, but we’re now got the first official still of him as Superman, courtesy of USA Today.
As far as I can tell the differences between the Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice and the Man of Steel suit are minimal. The main difference so far is that it’s dark. Very dark. You know, probably because it’s raining… Between this and Zack Snyder’s shot of Ben Affleck’s Batman, I assume we’re in for a darker film. Snyder being… quite a literal film-maker…
Aside from that there’s some changes to the ribbing at the sides and it also looks like there’s more of a belt on the new suit. There’s also some differences around the wrists, it looks more like ribbing going up the forearms rather than cuffs now. Hard to see if there’s any changes below the belt (hur hur) but as far as I can tell the boots look the same.

Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice is due to be released in the UK & Ireland on 29th April 2016 and in the US on 6th May 2016.
