indie film: Evidence of Existence (2013)
4 CommentsI get a lot of e-mails from independent film-makers who want to publicise their films. I’ve decided to make a feature for it, starting with this film… Evidence of Existence.
Evidence of Existence is one of the growing number of ultra-low-budget films being made by enterprising young film-makers all over the world. Over the last three years Adam El-Sharawy and Alex Frois have been hard at work making this multiple narrative feature which has been shot on 7 different camera formats and they’re now ready to put it out there.
In our deepest moments of struggle, frustration, fear, confusion, we can lose ourselves. And when everything around us fades, the answers we hope for… fade as well.
They have not yet agreed cinema distribution but you will be able to catch the film at film festivals around the UK this year and they have agreed VOD distribution after they do the festival circuit. Definitely one to keep an eye out for in festival programmes soon.
I have seen this film at The BFI.
Its a great innovative film with flair and imagination.
It has technical flaws, but for sheer passion and innovation, its a great piece of work
I highly recommend this. The film mixes different themes, horror , drama & comedy to an ultimate climax. Very grungy but compelling to watch

I saw this film at the BFi and really enjoyed.
Gave me a lot to think about particularly about the futility of human existence
One of the best indie films I’ve seen.
